We offer many services at Pierce Federal Credit Union. We have payroll deduction, direct deposit, Share (savings) accounts, Christmas Club Share accounts, Share Draft (checking) accounts, debit cards, and loans.
Share Accounts
To join the Credit Union, all you have to do is open a share account. A share account is the same as a savings account. You must keep a $10.00 minimum balance in your account. You will earn dividends on your share account on balances over $50.00. The dividend rate is calculated on your average daily balance and is credited to your account quarterly. The dividend rate is set by the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
Share Draft Accounts
Share Draft accounts are the same as checking accounts. We offer free overdraft protection on all of our Share Draft accounts. You can elect to have overdrafts automatically covered by the balances in your savings/club accounts with us!
Direct Deposit
We also offer direct deposit. You can have your entire paycheck deposited directly into your Share Draft account. No more waiting in line at the bank to cash your paycheck. If you are out of town, you can feel confident that your paycheck has been deposited into your Share Draft account and you can begin writing checks on that money immediately. Debit Cards
Your debit card will work in conjunction with your Share Draft account, and is used for debit transactions rather than credit transactions for purchases anywhere VISA is accepted. It's very convenient if you need cash over the weekend, when the Credit Union is closed. Either way, the money comes directly out of your checking account. Loans
The Credit Union offers loans secured by titled and insured vehicles, boats, tractors, recreational vehicles and share deposits. New vehicles are financed at 100% of the retail value and used vehicles are financed at 80% of the average retail value (determined by the NADA guide book).

Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction can make your life much easier. With payroll deduction, you can have any amount you want automatically deducted from your paycheck and deposited directly into your Credit Union account. This makes saving a breeze. Since you never see the money in your paycheck, you don't miss it and it adds up quickly in your Share account. This is also a good way to make your loan payments. No more writing out checks and remembering when to mail your loan payments. The money is automatically deducted from your paycheck each pay, and applied to your loan. No more late payments because you forgot to put the check in the mail.
Money Orders
We offer money orders to our members, with a maximum of $1,000 per money order. The cost is $0.85 per money order.
